Weekend Workers!

This weekend was wonderful! Jake and I took the kids out to my parents to help with some destruction... we took down and cleaned up some trees. On Sunday we just spent the day together playing outside in the sun... practicing Soccer! Only a few weeks left until Samuel is an Official "player"! He is is the very proud owner of new silver shin guards and a blue soccer ball and he could not be any more excited, especially since he found out Jack is going to be playing! Elijah and Jack all in the same space is Samuels Idea of fun!

Sam and Avelynn were a BIG help cleaning up the fallen trees!

We went to our Play Group Party today!

Samuel and I colored a million rainbows then hot glued on cupcake papers and filled them with Corn Pops! The kids seemed to love them! Avelynn had a ton of fun following big brother around and Sam spent most of the party defending Samsons toy cars! He was really worried the bigger kids were not going to give the toys back. LOL Not to worry I believe Samson made it home with all his cars in tow! I forgot my camera.. I know I know a mortal mistake...not to worry the cell phone saved the day!

Our Weekend Outside!

We spent the weekend at the State Park!

We went out hiking both Saturday and Sunday!

The kids really enjoyed being out and soaking up all that sunshine! We also were out and took our easter photos but those are top secret for now... prints have been

ordered!

Chloe loved the trails and Avelynn did not. We dubbed her Princess Avelynn carry me a-lot! She did MUCH better the second day! Samuel loved every minute of hiking and would never leave the woods... so much like his Mommy and Daddy. We will get Avelynn in to shape in no time, It really did'nt help that Samuel kept on tell her there

was a snake in every hole we passed... Boys. :P

I hope everyone was out and about this weekend, It really was wonderful!

We caught a wee leprechaun! We're still waiting on our Gold..

Sam and I made leprechaun's yesterday! They turned out really really cute!

we used some old tubes, paint, glue, glue guns, foam, a compass, stickers and yarn!

This was not a quick project but it was a lot of fun... Avelynn was sleeping but she enjoyed waking to find two new friends!

This past weekend we traveled to Ohio and visited the house I grew up in. My parents had to do some work to get the home ready to sell and Avelynn and I had the most fun running through the house and playing hide and seek, football and finally crashing! Empty houses are so much fun!

I went to check on the babies and Avelynn's bed was empty. After a bit of mild panic... I found her snuggled up with Samuel.

They are so cute snuggled down together!
